How do fees work on Dhukaan?

Joining and starting a shop on Dhukaan is free. There are three fees: a listing fee, transaction fee and a payment processing fee. Once an item sells, there is a 5% transaction fee on the sale price (not including shipping costs). We also collect a 4% + £0.20 payment processing fee when an item is sold. The payment processing fee may also vary by bank country.

What do I need to do to create a shop?

It’s easy to set up a shop on Dhukaan. Create an Dhukaan account, choose a shop name, populate the fields including profile pictures and selecting a shop theme, create a listing, set a payment method (how you want to be paid).

What can I sell on Dhukaan?

Dhukaan provides a marketplace for bespoke items from crafters, artists and collectors to sell their handmade creations, vintage goods, both handmade and non-handmade crafting supplies.

How do I get paid?

You may accept payments from a wide variety of payment methods including credit cards, debit cards and PayPal. Funds from your sales are deposited directly to your bank account in your currency, no matter how or from where the buyer pays. How does

Seller Protection is a programme that offers you peace of mind in the event of a transaction dispute. If you are unable to resolve a disagreement with a buyer and the transaction meets eligibility requirements, Dhukaan will help you resolve the issue through our dispute resolution system.

Do I need a credit or debit card to create a shop?

No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop. To be verified as a seller you have to register a account and our team will make sure you meet our high standards as a store. You will not incur any charges until you open your shop and publish your listings.
